Hi! I know exactly what you mean. It seems there are things that "do the trick" for us in terms of getting through this nightmare called insomnia, then all of a sudden, poof, they don't work anymore. But, what I've found is something new pops up and before you know it, you're back on track again. So, don't fret. You'll be ok again. You've been down this road before and made it through and it'll happen again. I completely understand your frustration. There are things I tell myself when hope seems lost and I feel great, then for some unknown reason, those same positive thoughts don't work. I just seem to come up with new ones that do work. I think it's an ongoing process with ups and downs. I always hope someday this will be far enough behind me that I can actually laugh at all the crazy thoughts, fears, rituals, etc. I've been doing for the past couple of years. Until then, though, I have to keep telling myself things will get better and they do.
You too will perk up and get through this period of discouragement. You're stronger than you think. Keep the faith moonatic. Take care.
