Regarding mirtazapine's price, I was going by prices quoted by an online pharmacy. Trazodone was $7.99 for 30 - 50 mg. Mirtazapine was $39.99 for 30 - 15 mg. (Remeron was more than twice that amount). But if trazodone doesn't make one sleepy, it doesn't matter how cheap it is! It sounds like these drugs only affect appetite, rather than slowing down metabolism?
