Thanks, Friends, I got through the op. fine and it all looks pretty good so far.
Funny thing though, due to having been drugged today and having been under anesthesia, I thought I'd just take 1/2 of the Ativan tablet and skip the 1 Doxepin. Guess what, it's now 1:30 a.m. and I am still waiting for Mr. Sandman.
So now I took the other half and the Dox.
I know I will eventually fall asleep. But this is a typical example of the need for medication. I obviously need a certain amount to fall asleep. But the good thing is, even though I don't like it, I am not anxious. The anxiety adds a bad sting to insomnia. Like we are letting it be in control, give it power.
I tell myself: well, it has been quite a day. Maybe this is not surprising. Also, I'll get some sleep eventually. No big deal.
I just had some hot milk and some crackers, and am behind the computer a little bit. Then in about half an hour I'll go back to bed.
Until tomorrow. Casablanca
