Taking Nyquil to Initiate Sleep.

Posted by shadybab on October 26, 2006 at 02:49:40:

I've tried taking Nyquil to initiate sleep as I have had no problem staying asleep once I finally do. It is so hard to actually fall asleep I can actually lay in bed for HOURS after I would normally need to go to bed even if I hadn't slept much at all the night before.

Anyways my doctor told me to stray away from Rx sleep medications and try Tylenol PM. I only had Nyquil so I took that. Some nights I fall asleep just fine and wake up feeling rested. But other nights I would have even a harder time falling asleep and sometimes would even hear voices in my head. I know it sounds crazy, but has anyone experienced this before? Any thoughts?
