Cairo, I agree with what you say. I have found that if I have a big day and don't sleep the night before, I somehow get enough adrenalin kicking in that I don't even really notice that I'm tired. And, as you say, even if I notice it, nobody else does. The hardest are the days when I don't have anything big planned, and therefore, no adrenalin kicking in.
But the thing that I really can't resolve is not sleeping at all on those nights when I have stayed out extra late. (for me, that's 10:00 pm and anything later.)
I can't seem to fall asleep for love nor money. I've never figured this out--I should be even more tired and fall asleep more easily! Once I'm up past my natural bedtime, it's all over for me. I am trying not to let this interfere with my life and I do go out "late" when it's called for,(I play music with a group once a week, so I keep coming up against this on a fairly regular basis) but I sure wish I could find a way to deal with this. It's my last really big hurdle, because I'm learning to live with the rest of it (the insomnia related problems). I think I remember your saying that you also had to deal with this problem--any tips or suggestions?
Thanks, Sova
