Yes I agree about Remeron. It is helping me and I have had a long history with Paxil, which wore off after 15 years on 20 mg. I am on a minute dose of the Remeron - only 7.5 mg. It does have a sedating effect after a couple of weeks on it.
Give it a try. It is very good - I had the same thing going on as you - I awakened after only 3-4 hours sleep. Now I sleep 6-7 hours a night and it is wonderful. Good luck and keep us posted.
