Echo- see my response to your earlier post. I hated sleep restriction and it did nothing for me but make me more anxious and miserable. It may help people who are sleeping weird hours. Your case seems much more likely to benefit from CBT, since you know that it's an issue related to worrying about work functioning. Sleep restriction does work for some people, but it is not the panacea that it is held up to be.
