Posted by sleeping well on February 23, 2007 at 08:52:12:Info regarding why Starnoc was removed is available on Canada's Medicine Prices Review Board listing:www.pmprb-cepmb.gc.ca/english/View.asp?x=327&mp=271. The company was price gouging and was required to pay millions of $ to the Canadian Govt. if they did not lower their prices dramatically by July 2006.
Of note in this Canadian govt. review: Starnoc was compared to another drug, Imovane (Zopiclone) for price comparison. The two drugs must therefore be similar. Ask your doctor, if Imovane (or Zopiclone) will work just as well for you as Starnoc.
