Bob- you are right. The hardest thing about CBT is that it takes time, faith and patience. You really have to be aware of the thoughts and change them many times daily at first, and it takes a lot of time to really get back on track with sleep. I found, though, that it helped a little bit right away. My sleep started to improve gradually, but best of all, I wasn't so frantic and obsessed with sleep all the time.
