I guess I was ashamed because the drug is classified as an antidepressant and I never wanted to be, a nervous old lady. I always prided myself on my independance and sane brain. The ambien didn't have the same connotation to me. I went to a therapist when this initially started I really wanted to be pro-active, she told me it was just hormones and couldn't do anything for me.
That was about 2 years ago, I've been just dealing with this, but I still wanted help I went to a sleep DR. told him i believed this all something in my head did he deal with psychiatrists or psychologists that had experience with this problem. He made me do a sleep study, which i really believed was unnecessary but I wanted to be a compliant pt. Now he wants to do the sleep restriction, no new ,meds. I feel like i have reached out so many times and I know I need help with the anxiety, I truly believe that is the problem but I don't where else to turn, and yes you are right I am dealing with it I've never called in sick, never skipped anything, my house is still clean, I know I can do all that is necessary but It really scares me and I know I need help with that, sorry to be so long winded
