Yes, yes. I NEVER felt drowsy when I was so anxious about sleep and having acute insomnia. NEVER. Now that I got past the anxiety and I sleep well most nights, I feel drowsy right on time for bed. And I can take naps now, 2 hour ones, for the first time in my adult life. The anxiety causes the lack of drowsiness, I believe. Our bodies and brains get so wired that we just never can settle down and sleep.
