That is good to hear sova. There is hope for me. I was taking imovane (lunesta) for a long time, then went through withdrawal, then went through anxiety. Then I was prescribed Starnoc (Sonata),Lexapro and Seroquel and did well until Starnoc no longer became available in Canada. Then my old doctor retired, the new doctor does not want to prescribe imovane or seroquel to me. (I don't really like seroquel anyway.) So I am out of luck with the meds it seems. I am trying herbs like Valerian to sleep, and still on Lexapro...and I hoping I will regain a normal night's sleep sometime soon. I am able to nap now most times I try. It's the night time sleep anxiety that gets to me still and early wakening if I do sleep. It's good to hear the brain can recover. You said it took some months though. I do want to get off all medication sometime.
