Hi - say how many hours do you average a night - some people here get along good on 4 hours - I am reading this book Mind Over Mood - it is about CBT - have gone 3 sessions now but my counselor doesn't talk about the chapters - he says this is not school but if you have questions we will discuss this - so I keep reading and doing the exercises - it is a kind of self talk - i.e., as an example if i'm worrying about not sleeping i should say to myself something like "i've not slept before and i survived" so i shouldn't panic - stuff like that - but it's a long process i have had insomnia so it will take some time to work I believe but have to have patience. I take Lunesta and 50 my amitriptyline together at night with 1/2 Ativan 1 hour before bedtime for now to help me - i think it is a chemical thing too am lacking as i take Arimidex which takes estrogen out of your body totally for breast cancer but i have had this problem way before breast cancer - anyway,if this helps you are not alone. Take care - keep us posted
