Thanks Cairo and Elsinore, I am hanging in there. I have just had a bad week sleepwise and it is getting to me. Just came back from a walk and noticed how little energy I had.

About the six weeks--- I knew right from the start that this would be hard to achieve. I have had some success with the book otherwise and am still sticking to a lot of its suggestions.

I have not had any of those terrible nights with zero sleep---so that is an improvement. But I just don't seem to get more than 5- 5-1/2 hrs. interrupted sleep, taking meds. It just wears me down.

When something interrupts my good stretch, I lose confidence in the very thing that was helpful in getting me there, i.e., the book. To now start reading it all over again when I have already done so three times is not much help.

So now I have to find something new that will help me get back into a good stretch and be positive.

I sure wish there were support groups for insomniacs in every town. I found the one in CA so very helpful.

But I am grateful for this one on-line and all of you who share and give hope. Thanks. Casablanca
