Hi Cassablanca
I haven't read many posts here lately but had a bad night last night so read some - woke up at 3 and couldn't get back to sleep so got up at 7 am - tired of laying there.
I wanted to tell you to think about that lady in your bc support group - the one who sleeps 1-3 hours and looks so good for her age - we need to think of those kind of cases when we have a bad night.

I think I have been having trouble lately because I've been thinking about my 3 grandchildren that I dont spend too much time with as the other grandmother does - I seem to always have some kind of "nervous" issues that keeps me from getting too involved although I am going to watch the 2 year old for 3 days while my daughter takes her 2 daughters on a trip but haven't done too much babysitting -although she lives only 2.5 hours from here I have a problem of driving alone and waiting on husband to take me ends up on not too many trips as he is a workaholic but anyway I think lately my waking up early is because I feel guilty when I hear about what the other grandma does and how involved she is with them - I guess I awaken and think I'm not a "good" grandma -

Anyway, sometimes other issues keep us awake is what I'm saying - I have to figure out a way to deal with this and also to get over my fear of "driving alone" - am planning on going one overnight trip this month which is a "biggy" for me - am tired of having all these "hangups" and when I wake up I think about that which keeps me awake.

Anyway, just remember we all have been through what you have - I had bc too - but yours you had more treatment - anyway, I kind of withdraw too when I'm not sleeping good.

Anyway, keep us posted on your psych appt - haven't gone to see my therapist in a long time as dont think he helped me - all he did was be sympathetic to my problems but no solutions and he is expensive to pay - a friend can do what he did - just be a good listener.

Keep us posted - good luck!
