Electracat - you need to change your bedtime hours. That is too late to first go to sleep. Anyway, 11PM is probably a better time for you.
I do bright light therapy and usually sit under it from 6:45PM - 7:15PM. Then I usually jog around my basement for 5 minutes. At around 10PM, I have a hard time staying awake. I have been sleeping 6-7 hours each night and awakening at 5:45AM for work. I think that is a more normal bedtime schedule. I think the light in the evening helps a person stay asleep longer.
