BTW I have driven long distances with little sleep and with my anxious personality I was in no danger of falling asleep. I think the chances of falling asleep while driving around town are essentially zero. If you have to drive a long distance do the usual thing of stopping frequently, walking around, etc. Or pull off and take a nap (!)
