I have gained a lot from your posts, i.e., Mother of all.. How to ..,etc. And as I have posted before, my problem is waking too early on workdays. My pattern for the last few years is to awaken after 3-4 hrs., but then fall asleep again until morning. Now I just wake and can't get back to sleep. I am wide awake at 3am. I have tried light therapy, a little SR, etc. but the imagined stress of the coming day just seems to wake me. As you advised, I have resigned myself to just going with it and not letting it affect me or take over my life. I don't take any meds and have given up on fancy rituals, but it is really getting tough to drag myself through the day on 3-4 hrs of sleep. Weekends are no problem, so I know I have conditioned myself to wake too early. Just don't know how to break the pattern.
