Hey Kettle -- My big issue was always getting to sleep, although I've had maintenance problems mixed in as well. i can totally identify with getting 3 hours of sleep, waking up at 2 or 3 in the morning and not getting back to sleep. That indeed is frustrating. Unfortunately I don't really have any words of wisdom for that. About the only thing I can suggest is to not lay there and lay there for hours on end not sleeping. For me, there's something about getting up and walking around, even for just a few minutes that sort of re-induces the sleeping feeling...just a few minutes on my feet helps. I don't know why this is, and it doesn't make alot of sense, but I think there's something to it, as it often helps me. Also, I've noticed there are certain times of the night when it's easier to sleep. There seems to be a window between 11 and 1 or 2 where the sleep chemicals kick in...and then they sometimes take a hike for a couple hours, then they come back around 4 or 5 and last the rest of the night. This could also be my imagination, but I've noticed this trend in myself for a long time. Sometimes, even when my sleep is hard to come by, just knowing that the 4am-ish sleep-mode will eventually kick in is a bit of a relaxor. Tom
