Well, my 6th night of no ambien and counting. Very little, if any sleep last night. Isn't it just amazing? I was really not anxious or worried, I kept calmly telling myself that in a few nights I would sleep again.
I guess this is all normal. Do you think the number of sleepless nights has anything to do with me being on the ambien for 5 years?
My body has forgotten how to sleep on its own. I guess I will get the Desperately Seeking book and look into the sleep restriction stuff.
Well, I just wanted to give an update. Even after 6 nights of no sleep, I still function well during the day. My mind seems sharper with no ambien.
