never feel tired

Posted by teachman on June 17, 2008 at 17:52:58:

For nearly 25 years I've suffered with horrific insomnia. The kicker is that I never feel the sensation of fatique. I could work a full day, do a million other things and when it's bedtime I feel no sense that's it time to go to bed. I feel constantly "wide awake." I have been diagnosed with anxiety but I wonder if I could have a mis-diagnosis. I rely on xanax/ambien in order to get 3-5 hours of sleep. Extremely frustrating, but I've learned to get used to this. Any words of wisdom out there???
thanks!
