I just looked at - shoot what was it...like the "grand daddy of all posts" something like
that. In forum 28. Worth a look-see for sure. I am really starting to think that if I could
just surrender to the insomnia, and quit being so obsessive, controlling (attempting to
be),and so affected. That posting was talking about the underlying "uncertainty" in those
with insomnia. It is there playing a role in mine...Usually I truck through the anxiety. I had given up caffeine for a long time. Right now, I
am drinking espresso again. Either way I am nervous - but I would rather be somewhat
alert and nervous. Usually I take nothing. Right now I am under extra pressure as I am
doing an internship and so have given myself permission to take .25mg of xanax under
certain conditions when I need to be able to communicate and be with-it. Last night I slept
horribly, and took a half of an Imovane ( i think is like lunesta in the states). No matter
what the sleep aid I take though, there is a price to pay the next day - and it gets worse as
the days accumulate. In the end, I am better not sleeping as much, but having natural
sleep. But, when I get so frustrated, I like the relief of having a sleep aid there.
