If you tailor your expectations a bit, that can help....expect to have a couple of good nights, followed by a couple of bad...but expect that the good ones will always return, and they will.

I still have a few days here and there where I just don't sleep as well. Last week it went on all week. Then Sunday, I slept great. Monday...shallow sleep again...Tuesday...great.

I just don't worry about it anymore, because that's counterproductive. When you are recovering from insomnia, it goes up and down, it's not realistic to expect anything else.
