Ok, so you think I am actually getting sleep during those times when I am lying there for hours deep breathing, able to hear what is going on around me, but totally relaxed. I think so too, but just wasn't sure if it would be considered more of a stage 1-2 sleep. Thanks!! I get it around that time of the month, also. I am currently 47 and am sure most of this is hormonal because snxiety and sleep problems come up during perimenopause and I never had this problem until 3 years ago.
