For me anti-depressents surely helped. I went through the same thing as you, exactly. I then developed depression from it. I started taking zoloft after being quite apprehensive. But once I started taking it (takes one week for steady state levels) I had better QUALITY sleep (stage 4/deep sleep REM) instead of the usual light stage sleeping that depressed people get. Then I started to concentrate better and think more positive. That gave me the mental strength to overcome it. The zoloft didnt fix me, it just helped give me the mental strength to overcome. So yes, I think if you have no other options then try the anti-depressants. I take the lowest dose at 25 mg.
Best, KT
