Don't give up!! You will be okay. Don't feel bad about your meltdown, either. You're not alone in that. I have spent many a night, lying on my living room floor, looking out at the darkness, crying and wondering why this was happening to me. My husband also doesn't understand...he tries to, but he just can't help and always sleeps like a baby. I think the worst part at 3am is that you feel so alone. It's dark, you think of everyone else resting, and you wonder, why not me? Everything seems worse in the darkness and quiet. Maybe it would help to think of all of us on here, wherever we are, spread about the world, dealing with the same struggles. Don't listen to the lie that you're all alone and going to go crazy...there are other people dealing with this, too, and we're getting out of bed and starting a new day tired just like you, and we're not crumbling. We may feel like we're going to fall apart sometimes, but we're not.

Don't agonize. Just determine that you will live your life even if this doesn't go completely away. Many of us will probably always be PRONE to insomnia, but not ruled by insomnia, once we conquer the fear. I am praying for you!
