from early waking to fragmentation?

Posted by nquixote on November 21, 2008 at 12:44:44:

Dear all,

For the past 6 weeks, I've been waking up early (maybe 4 or 5 hours after I fall asleep). Last night, I slept longer (maybe 6.5 or 7 hours), but I woke up about 3 or 4 times in the night, and each time I was sweating around the collar. This morning, and all of today, I felt much less tired than I usually have recently, but I've had headaches and a hyper-alert feeling all say.

Has anyone else experienced a kind of insomnia shift like this? Does this mean my insomnia is getting worse? Or is it getting better? Or what?
