Only you will know, in time...but it sounds like you're feeling more rested and getting more sleep. If you're ruled out serious medical problems (sleep apnea, TB, certain viral infections), sweating while sleeping is almost certainly caused by anxiety, as is that hyper-alert feeling. You can thank your body & nervous system for throwing too much adrenaline into your blood stream for that. Rather than second-guessing your body, why not just take this as a positive sign, and tell yourself that your body is in charge here, and will lead the way to a more relaxed, regular state. Our bodies can sustain a hyperarousal/survival state for a while, but it takes a lot of effort, and I believe that in most cases, the body tries to return to homeostasis. I kind of believe that we're really just passengers here.
