Thanks for replying.

This clinic specifies the hours of the study in their brochure, so I'm pretty sure they are non-negotiable. I don't mind sucking it up and going, as long as I feel it will lead to a genuine diagnosis. That being said, I'm fairly certain that apnea has nothing to do with my insomnia, if it did, I don't think I'd have issues falling asleep. I mean if it was apnea, would that cause me to lie in bed for hours, so tired that I'm almost dizzy, and yet be unable to fall asleep?
