Hi, I had 2 sleep studies done and I'd say that they are very useful.
With a sleep study you rule out problems like restless legs syndrome
or sleep apnea. Of course, they are not perfect, the night you spent
in the lab surrounded by cables you won't be able to sleep like at
your bed and that's called "lab effect".
They shouldn't have any problem to adapt it to your regular sleep
schedule, let's see you go to bed at midnight and wake up at 7, they
can adjust it. You are the customer and you pay for the study.
