I can understand your stress. It is difficult trying to plan a big dinner for lots of people. You always feel like everything has to be just perfect. But guess what, the people will love it no matter what you cook or how the conversation is. All of these people that you are cooking for are coming just to spend time with you and the others at the dinner. You can do this!!! Besides, you would survive the day if you had very little sleep and weren't serving this big dinner so you will survive it this way, too. Yes, you might e tired but all of these people and all of these things to do will serve as a distraction for you and it might take your mind off the insomnia for a while. Try to do what I do; spend the entire day and never, ever mention that you are tired, that you had trouble sleeping, or that insomnia bothers you. You will be forced to keep your mind on other things and it will help you to see that your life is totally normal, even with a lack of sleep. I am pulling for you; you can do this. Just believe in yourself. Have a great day tomorrow and work on geting rest tonight, who cares about getting sleep. Just rest and relax tonight and if you get sleep in the process, well that is just a bonus!! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
