My fear stems from 3 reasons 1) I was the last person to see my nan awake. She fell asleep on the couch when I was with her and she never woke up. Her body had put her in a coma (she had 7 types of cancer) and she died 2 weeks later. 2) I'm prone to night terrors ever since I saw somebody I loved get murdered. 3) Because of reason 2 I scream and get violent in my sleep and it upsets my mum when she finds me in that state. If I go to sleep I tend to wake up covered in blood and bruises.
I've tried dealing with it but I honestly can't. According to my surgeons (I've had to have many operations for various things) even when I'm under anestetic my heart rate speeds up and when I'm coming round I start twitching and wimpering.
