Wow! All I can think is, isn't the body incredible? I guess you can't count on expressing stress consistently. I'm so glad to hear that both of your problems have improved. This is really encouraging. My sister's IBS has also improved a great deal, now that she manages her stress better. She's had to lower her expectations for what she can take on, and how much. Travel is often too stressful for her. (I still think she'll never develop insomnia.)

I know that my sleep problems are going to improve once I've finished this chapter of my life. (I'll be defending the phd in the next month...I'll be done!!) I'll have new stressors in whatever my new life looks like, but nothing like the hurricanes that hit me over the last 10 years.
