Chronic insomnia from social anxiet

Posted by anxious on March 13, 2009 at 00:48:00:

For about 5 yrs I suffered severe social anxiety where I did not really sleep much. I escaped the social anxiety, but after 20 yrs my sleep did not go back to normal. was on seroquel for 4 yrs which didnt really help but after I stopped I almost died from extreme lack of sleep. Anyway, I want to learn more about insomnia that stems from traumatic stress that occurred in past. I have not been able to work and only a small amount of stress is enough to spiral my insomnia out of control where i get sick.
