I'm on valium 10 a day plus 12.5 ambien when I wake up in the middle of the night (which is every night) and can't go back to sleep. I'm also on luvox which does nothing to help me sleep, it's for OCD. Take meds as prescribed by your doc. I didn't and got no sleep, so I got back on course. Ambien does help with my sleep, though. Other meds need time. I find the less I think about sleep the easier I fall asleep.
