I think what Einstein meant by that was that he believed in a determined universe.... Of
course, now that's all come into question with quantum physics, as the observer effect can
actually change reality, just by observing..... (as in the double slit experiment.) Of course
this concepts falls right into place with the idea that perception and belief and emotions can
change biology. I think, in a nutshell, mind over matter is what Einstein was philosophically
against, but nonetheless, the evidence seems to point in that direction. The placebo effect
