Schizophrenia can mean a lot of things. If you are new immigrant to a country who cant find a job or learn the language you have good chance of being labeled schizophrenic.

A drug like seroquel will help your sleep for a couple years and then you will have rebound insomnia for several years.

If you are unemployed with no friends that will be enough to explain your insomnia. at the very least you should have some structure in lyour life where you are forced to get up a set time each day. exercise will help but it has to be intense and long in duration. A good 8 hr mountain climb would be enough. exercise 6 hrs a day or as much as you can without injuring yourself. participate in all the marathons and adventure races in your area. kayak racing is good.

your life is passing you by so you have a good reason not to sleep.

anyway, your problem is lifestyle and not schizophrenia per se.

The most important thing to understand is that psychiatrists are witchdoctors. the drugs dont work. never have and likely never will.

you need to get off the meds and find some purpose for your life.
