Hi sudani,

Schizophrenia and other metal illnesses have been linked to autoimmune diseases, that is, people with autoimmune diseases have a higher incidence of having an associated mental illness.

Also, people with autoimmune diseases share many symptoms like joint pain, rashes, insomnia, etc.

There is research that is going on which is looking at bacteria as being the probable cause of these diseases and their many shared symptoms.
