I have ocd, anxiety, and major depression, which all fragment my sleep. I cannot sleep without meds. Even with meds I have trouble and I depend on ambien and valium a lot. Seroquel is a major antipsychotic that just drugged the hell out of me and did not really help me sleep. I've done a lot a praying myself about my situation. I have major stress in my life and was recently in a car accident deemed my fault, so my stress is through the roof and I'm scared to death. Any kind of stress makes mental sickness and insomnia so much worse. I lie awake at night with my mind racing ruminating about what will happen. This can lead to nights of 0 sleep. I know any mental illness is a nightmare, so I can relate to what you are saying and tell you you're not alone in the insomnia that goes with it.
