Well even I was wary about this side effect. I spoke to a sleep specialist as well as my pdoc and they advised me that in the short term when the medicine kicks in, one might experience insomnia as side effect(not everyone has this side effect).Once the SSRI kicks in say about 2-4 weeks, this side effect goes away.Since ur anxiety is curbed,you will begin to sleep well.
