Hey. Sorry it took me so long to respond to you. Firstly I want to say I slept pretty well yesterday and the day before but last night and into this morning was another bad experience. As usual I was able to fall asleep fine, with no sleep meds, but I was up again a couple hours later wide awake. I went to bed around 5am after hanging out with some friends Saturday night, and initally woke around 7:30 or 8 I believe. I remember dreaming a couple times between 8 am and noon but I dont think it was more than a couple hours. Once again I am up for the day extremely nervous and my chest feels strange. As for my Lexapro you were asking about, I started it in the Spring of 05 and got off after a few months. I then had my first experience of horrible insomnia and anxiety in the Winter of 07 and went to a psychiatrist and was perscribed Zoloft and some Trazadone. This helped me a lot and after a few months I was feeling great and got off of it. I am currently on 10 mg of Lexapro. I started it about 3 weeks ago and wasn't taking it regularly the first week but this past week I have been very strict on taking it every day. Just weeks ago before this started I was doing great and sleeping 8-10 hours if I wanted. This is killing me because on the weekends I cant even sleep more than 4 or 5 hours. I wake up 2-3 hours after falling asleep and it's just this intense battle for hours after that. I don't know what to do. I thought this would get better after a couple weeks but it really hasn't.
