Thanks again MKO for your encouragement. I have read so many positive stories on these boards and that gives me a lot of hope. Question for you though. I am not experienced with SR and am a little confused with the SR schedule my sleep dr. wants me to try. She said that since my problem is sleep maintenance and basically do not have a problem getting to sleep I am to go to bed when I am tired and if/when I awaken, to stay awake the rest of the right regardless. The previous night I fell asleep at 10:00 to 12:00 midnight. I went against her wishes at returned to bed and fell asleep at 2:30 - 4:30. Last night fell asleep at 10:00 to 2:00 and got out of bed for the night. What do you think of this kind of scheduling? I have never heard of it. I guess it is to create enough of a sleep debt that you will eventually exhaust yourself into sleeping longer. I dunno... doesn't sound structured enough to me but maybe it will work. I tried the 12:00 - 6:00 scheduling on my own one time for 2 days and gave up. Should I give her schedule a try for a while and see how it works or do the 12:00 - 6:00 instead? Your opinion?
