Hmm- tough one to answer for me. I think I am a weird animal. Some nights I lie there for hours wide awake and other nights I quickly fall into a very light sleep, which is completely non restorative. On a better night I fall fairly quickly into a good sleep and then wake up too early like 3:30 or so and then it's on and off from then on. I found all the Z type drugs or benzos only gave me a short, unnatural feeling sleep. Trazodone gave me a far too light sleep. Now that I am off both the Traz and Zs I am slightly better- last night I got 6.5 hours of good quality sleep and feel great today. I am not getting my hopes up too high as I know this can happen for me- and then revert back to problems. Anyway, I am continuing my mild form of SR and am now going to try Paxil. I know alot of people say Paxil causes insomnia but I am giving it a try along with the SR. Keeping my fingers crossed and continuing to pray alot!!!
