I won't bore everyone with my raves about SR anymore since I've pretty much beaten that horse over the past 6 months but yes, it works incredibly well for a lot of people and the extreme aspects are only in the beginning. SR changed my life and I am committed to staying on this site for as long as I can to keep reinforcing that it does work.

That first month of SR *heck* for me was WELL worth it and was a LOT less harmful for me than being on sleeping medications every night for over 10 years - and obsessing about my insomnia for 10 years. Lulubelle, it took me a while to really feel like I got over the hump with SR. I still think someday you can access the benefits of it...you're close. Maybe now is not the time but it can always be an option for you - I hope you don't rule it out long term. One thing that was necessary for me during the crucial beginning stages of SR was to stay away from everyone else's conversations about insomnia and negative views of SR - it only made me question what I was doing even more. I had to just stay away from everything that wasn't positive reinforcement during the process - I was way too shaky to let doubts and negativity enter my mind. Good to hear from you lulubelle...
