When I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 10 years ago , My first complaint to the Rhumatologist was > All my muscles were aching Every where like I had run 20 miles.

He started pushing on all the pressure points they test at , and I literally jumped off the table every time he'd hit those places.

He said with out a doubt , it's Fibromyalgia.

I also have Chronic fatigue syndrome.

No energy to do anything. Even trying to vaccume the house is almost impossible.

Tried Lyrica and Cymbalta and that didn't do anything for the pain.
He wants me on harder Narcotics and I said those can cause pretty nasty side efffects and I wasn't really keen on that idea.
Soaking in the hot bath tub is nice. Heating pad is Ok.
Even putting a ice pack on these area''s feels good.

It sounds like you might be headed towards having Fibromyalgia since it can run in your family.

See a Rhumatologist and get diagnosed.
