Oh, my…how I identify with that!

Except soldiers have their “comrades in arms”, while our heroism is solitary and unrecognized, which makes it even more painful. Thank goodness for this Forum! At least SOMEONE understands!

As I may have mentioned, I was put on a series of sleep inducing medications beginning in November and have just tapered off Seroquel 2 weeks ago. I, too, am never sleepy, although my body is exhausted. I assumed my GABA receptors were affected by the meds (a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing), but, maybe it, as others have suggested, has something to do with stress hormones.

Whichever, we both have to be patient and trust that our bodies will stabilize in time.
