Hello Optimistic :)
Your language is not unfamiliar to me! I have come to realize that my mind is addicted to
worry.I have been reminding myself to become more attuned to the present moment. How hard
this is! The more I practice this, the more I find that my mind likes to grasp on to worries,
and "what ifs" in the possible future.Have you ever tried spending half an hour with your attention completely immersed in
only your second-by-second experience?I will probably engage in a similar sort of worry when I have presentations and exams to
do next month. Yes, the presentations. If I do as I have done, I will worry so much about
not sleeping because I feel pressure to have my precious and recovering sleep. Otherwise,
I usually feel the panic as I rehearse in my mind how awful it will be if I don't get that
sleep. THANKFULLY, and yet sooo slowly, I am learning to restructure some of my
catastrophizing thoughts. As far as catching a flue - I never get sick. Not with flues and stuff anyway. I LOVE garlic
though (maybe why I'm still single..). Do you have a healthy diet?
