Posted by moonatic on September 07, 2009 at 07:24:56:I'd like to know what your tools and tactics are for staying positive when you're sleep deprived and feeling bad. It seems that this is a very important part of recovery, but I find it so hard when I'm feeling tired. Let's make a list of our answers so everyone can benefit from them.
My answer is: I list all the things in my mind that I'm grateful for. I try to stay focussed on the present moment rather than worrying about the future (will I sleep tonight? will I be able to work tomorrow?), and say to myself, "right now I feel fine and I can handle this."
