These are great - thanks so much!

One thing I forgot to add which is critical for me: not to assume that one bad night - or a
week of bad nights - means that my sleep is "permanently" taking a turn for the worse and
will never get better again. This catastrophic thinking is what separates us from the people
who have bad nights but don't consider themselves insomniacs because they expect that it is
just a phase and their sleep will eventually normalize.
