Thanks for the advice. I had a feeling there was more to it than just anxiety. Not sure how to go about getting a sleep study done in the UK though. I will have to do some research. I do have a memory foam mattress but at the moment am sleeping (or not) on the lumpy old one in the spare room. What causes this apnea? My brother in law has it and he goes for nights without sleeping. He has been given something to wear during the night. I will have to ask him how it's going. Is this apnea life threatening? I am a panicker at the best of times. On the plus side, once I get to sleep I am usually good for several hours but I have noticed my nose blocks up at night (probably due to the seroquel) and sometimes I do feel like I can't get enough air in my lungs.
